Lena Puhv is a dental nurse at Gamla staden tandvård and has extensive experience in both public dental care and private dental care. She has worked at several clinics before but has now landed at Gamla staden tandvård together with dentist Sam Shahir, who has owned the clinic for a few years. Sam realizes his dream and runs a practice where he and Lena deliver the dental care they have always wanted to work with.
"I also worked for a while at Oral Care with care in nursing homes. Now I'm doing something completely new and it's exciting and challenging." says Lena.
In addition to traditional dentistry, Old Town Dentistry works with implants, prosthetics and a lot of invisible braces.
"We are also passionate about taking care of patients with dental fear." says Lena. "We have extensive experience in this area. With us, the patient is always in focus and should feel safe. We often talk about how we are a team of three people, patient, dentist and dental nurse, who work together and make sure that everyone is involved in the journey. The goal is to prioritize communication and thereby create a relaxed cooperation climate." says Lena.
